About MEBLOGGER

I am a working professional and till some years back my job involved traveling across the country.

Sometimes travel for longer days lead to exploring the local city where I was stationed.

During one such travel, I was generally discussing about the local eateries, which I had obviously searched on the net, with my colleagues in the local office.

During the discussion, one of my colleagues said “Sir, uska to abhi naam hua hai isliye lekin abhi quality pehle jaise nahi hai. Aap ye dusrewali dukan se try karo waha kafi acha milega.” (Sir it is just that his brand is well known, but the quality is not the same now. You can try the other shop.)

Although, it was a passing discussion, but what came to my mind was, while we travel, we refer to so much online information available, which most of the time is repetitive in nature.

This results in us not taking to those paths which are less traveled, with the fear of waste of time, energy, money, and primarily not finding anything worthwhile.

Initially, even I used to feel the same. However, later on, I decided to take smaller steps e.g: taking a small hilly trek to Jakhu temple in Shimla instead of the hired cars or just stopping the car on the roadside to enjoy the good valley view while driving on the hilly roads (ghats).

While doing so what I realized was, the reason for not finding something worthwhile was because, on offbeat roads or locations, you usually do not find the comforts, which are available in well-known places.

But believe me, some of the views, architecture, and spots are so beautiful and especially less or no crowd at all, where you can enjoy at the fullest.

These smaller experiences further motivated me to take such routes and believe me the outcoming was enriching.

There was always something new, either the learning, the destination, or sometimes even the risk.

I would be sharing all such experiences of mine through the website.

Hope these experiences of mine will help you and motivate you to take such paths.
