Ganapatipule is a very famous place among many tourists.

It is famous for two reasons: one is for the Ganesh temple, and another is for the beach.

  • Ganesh Temple – swayambhu Ganpati Temple

This place is devoted to the deity Lord Ganesh.

This idol of Lord Ganesha is self-originated. ( Swayambhu)

There are many stories among the villagers about the origin of the idol at this place.

Lord Ganesh is also known as “Pachimecha rakshak- Pachimecha Dwarpal” as the idol faces towards the west, so it is believed that Lord Ganesha guards the western gate.

This temple is at the foot of a hill and along the beach.

There is a beautiful mouse statue at the entrance of the temple.

From the temple, we can see a beautiful view of the sea.

At the time of high tides, the seawater reaches up to the foot of the temple.

Since the idol is at the foot of the hill, the pradakshina of this temple is quite long as it starts from the temple, and you have to cross all the hills.

A big round of pradaksina takes 30 to 45 min to complete.

But it is a beautiful experience, and you would love it.

I’m impressed, I have to admit. Seldom do I come across a blog that’s both educative and entertaining, and without a doubt, you have hit the nail on the head. The problem is something which too few folks are speaking intelligently about. I’m very happy that I stumbled across this during my search for something regarding this.
