How To Reach Ganeshgule From Ratnagiri?
It is 22 km from Ratnagiri city while driving towards Vijaydurga fort via the coastal road.
The name itself, tell us that the place is related to Lord Ganesha.

1.Ganeshgule -village
It is the hidden paradise of Ratnagiri.
The village is blessed with scenery and a beach. It is a very small and quiet village.
Located in interiors from the main city, driving on the last kilometer and a half will give the feel of driving through dense forest.
The road is so narrow in most of the places in the last 2 – 3 kilometers that only 1 car can pass through.
In case there is another vehicle coming from the opposite side, your driving skills would be tested.
2.Ganesh Temple
Natural serenity lies ahead when you drive through such roads and reach your destination.
As mentioned earlier, there is a small temple of Lord Ganesha, which is 400 years old.
There is no proper idol of Lord Ganesha, however self-stylized rock is worshipped as Lord Ganesha.
From this temple, you enjoy a scenic view of the forest in the adjoining valley.
Once you are done with the spiritual duty, you can proceed towards the beach, which is 10 minutes drive away.
3.Ganeshgule Beach
This is one of the most beautiful beaches, which is not yet explored.
The beauty of the beach is something that cannot be explained but experienced.
Most of the time you would find only yourself on this beach.
It provides complete privacy.
Sometimes you may encounter some local villagers.
Accommodation-
Stay accommodation is provided by the locals at reasonable rates.
It is recommended to spend one night in such a calm and pristine location.
During the night you can hear the sound of waves.
In case you are lucky you will be able to experience the phenomena wherein waves turn into sparkling blue during the night during November-December.
Early morning walk on cold sands on such beaches is a must experience which everyone should have.
